Sunday, August 26, 3:00-5:00pm, Tuttle Creek State Park River Pond
Join us for food and fun with several other Manhattan-area youth groups. There will be a mud volleyball tournament, swimming in the River Pond, other cool games like Gaga Ball, 9-Square-in-the-Air, great music, and even better people. And there will be plenty of snacks! This event is totally free!
This event is for middle and high school students. We encourage students to invite their friends!
What to bring: clothing for the activities you plan to participate in (mud volleyball, swimming), sunscreen, bug spray, water shoes (optional), & a towel!
NOTE: There's some construction currently going on at Tuttle. You cannot access the state park by taking by the road below the dam. To get to the River Pond, take Highway 24 to State Highway 13 which takes you on top of the dam. When you get to the far side, the road will be closed to continue straight ahead. Take the right turn onto River Pond Rd. and continue until you enter the park. Once through the station, the swimming beach will be nearly straight ahead.
